With more outdoor activities, trips to pools and nights out with friends and family, summer is the season of changing outfits often. To stay on top of your laundry this season, try
a few of our favorite organization tips for laundry day:

Handy Hamper Trick: Clip clothespins to the sides
of your hampers and teach your family to pin them on clothing to mark stains or spills.

Mismatched Socks: Tack mismatched socks on
a bulletin board on the wall of your laundry room,
so you can tell at a glance when you’ve found
their mates.

•

Perfectly Prepared: Save time by keeping extra
bottles or boxes of detergent and dryer sheets on
hand. Plan ahead and shop from the convenience of home by getting savings on Tide® at the eStore.

•

A Trick for Your Closet: For an easy way to
organize and clean out your closet, try turning all your hangers in the same direction. Then, when you wear an item, flip its hanger around. At the end of six
months, toss or give away all the clothes still facing
the original direction.

Great tips Dale! I really like the one about turning the hangers around. I am definitely going to try that! Lord knows I have plenty of clothes in my closet that don't ever get worn - just pushed farther and farther back into my closet.

I have found socks in sheets so I keep a special place in my closet for the socks without a mate. I know they did not just walk out the house, so I know they will show up one day LOL! Have a great weekend!

It is so hard to release those clothes we don't ware regularly because they become like family. Then, we tell ourselves the style will come back around again LOL! Now, I tell myself just like I have to stay up to date with technology to keep up with what my clients are doing, I must do the same with my wardrobe! I remember as a child my Mom would tell me even if you find one day you don't have a dime in your pocket, when you step out the door always look and carry yourself like you have a million bucks and doors will open for you! I have experienced seasons of abundance, seasons of just getting by, and seasons of not having enough in these 25 years devoted to real estate. In every season I have followed her wise advise and it has never failed me!
