Cedar City Localism Post...Cedar Breaks Star Party....

Cedar Break National Monument is hosting a Star Party beginning at 9:30 PM and going until 11:30 PM at Pointe Supreme. There will be telescopes available to look through to really get up close to the stars. The cost to enter Cedar Breaks is $4 per persons over 16.

If you have forgotten what stars look like or have never seen the Milky Way, (not the candy bar, the celestial one), this is a great location to get up out of the lights of the city and really see what the night sky has to offer. It is an amazing sight to see!

I’m sure I’ve seen the stars at some point in my life, but it probably wasn’t in San Diego. By the time the stars come out here, the marine layer has come in. We’d have to go many miles east to see stars.
