Carlsbad, California Aviara Community Park Snores & S'mores Camp-out.

City of Carlsbad, California Parks & Recreation presents the Snores & S'mores Family Camp-out from 5PM, August 13, 2011 to 9AM, August 14,2011 at the Aviara community Park located at 6435 Ambrosia Lane in Carlsbad, California.

This event is perfect for first-time campers because it take place in the safety and convenience of a community park. This year's even has a "Wizard of Oz" theme, featuring family relays, a scavenger hunt along the "Yellow Brick Road" an outdoor movie screening with popcorn and s'mores and a morning hike along one of Carlsbad's scenic trails. The even includes a barbecue dinner and light breakfast.

Admission is $20.00 per person: free for children ages 3 and younger. Registration deadline is 5PM, on August 10, 2011.
