What is the Back-to-School Fair In Montgomery County Maryland?
The Back-to-School Fair is a community-wide yearly event held for Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students and their families. School offices, community organizations and businesses come together to answer questions, provide information about services and offer a day of exciting activities, including music, entertainment, snacks, games and more.
The fair is free and open to all MCPS families. The 2011 Back-to-School Fair will be held this year on Saturday, August 27, from 12–3 p.m. at the Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville Maryland.
One of the main reasons for The Back-to-School Fair is an important way to bring families together to celebrate the beginning of the new school year and to learn about programs and services that will help them support their children's achievement.
Families who have attended the fair appreciate how the school system, community organizations and businesses join together to support parents and celebrate the start of the school year.
I encourage you participate in this important event that signifies the end of the summer and the start of the new school year in Montgomery County Maryland. For more information and sponsorship opportunities you can go directly to their website HERE
