This person remarked this on the deficit...
We can end the deficit in 5 minutes. Just pass a law that says...
"Anytime that there is more than 3% deficit of the GDP, all members of the sitting congress would be ineligible for re-election.
Now, I do believe that would give some people some incentive!

Joy...Some times that is the fun of this stuff. WE get to caught up in being so staunch in our opinions that we forget that we may just be wrong at times.

Great idea, but only those who are not planning on re-running office would vote for it.

Now that is an idea that is good enough that just might work. It will never happen, though.
Great idea as always, but unless the real voters get a crack at this, it will not happen.
