“Stand Out”
With new tools and new search techniques Google has become one of the most powerful search engines on the Internet today. In real estate it is crucial to attract consumers toward your website if the Internet has become your only means of marketing strategy. Some of the techniques incorporated within the newest update Google has released have been designed to not only view what content your web-page displays for use in search engine inquiries but also the tools search for evidence of content change on a day to day basis.
What are we posting on our ActiveRain blogs? Is the information useful and does it serve purpose to others? We need to be posting useful blogs so that when Google and its team are sifting through site after site, we stand out.Among the process of weeding out all of the unnecessary web-pages with useless content and information, we need to be striving to provide web users with concrete and useful, user-friendly information. Users that aren’t presented with useful links, legitimate content and eye-catching pictures are going to not only navigate to another web-page but also navigate away from doing business with you. This is exactly what you don’t want. Spend some time writing your own information. It can be based off of another web-page but cannot, I repeat, CAN NOT be copied and pasted into your own blog or web-page. Google has actually penalized web-pages that have mirrored content from any other site in which they have already viewed prior to viewing yours. Ultimately taking what could be your prime, “first page slot,” and putting your site well underneath all of the elite, well written, notable websites with original and useful content.
