Borrowing Heaven... Subletting Hell... It's my birthday - wanna spank me? With fun, snarky, interesting blog conversations like that how could you not read and follow Allison Pang? In case you're new to reading my blog our A Pang social media adventure started over here and it has been a stellar on-going hilarious virtual trip ever since (and yeah, A Pang is another @JayeWells hook-up and we heart Jaye - LOL).
What can I say? I'm in love with her novel A Brush of Darkness and have owned the book since July 30th. I'm also wild about Allison as a person, who actually inspired me creating a "Hello Kitty Eats Bacon" track.
Seriously... She really did... We named it Hell Kitty (evil grin).
Creating new tunes to wink, nod and salute our fave authors has been an amazingly fun project. While I lay down some Rock and Trip Hop Jazz drum tracks for our facetious, tongue in check, funky paranormal hellaciously rocking Pang-feline, I figured I'd hip you guys to the fact that the Pang in A author tribute track has just been uploaded to our distributor. We may be creating a third track after we finish Hell Kitty because A Pang is mad cool. The what does Alli sound like debate is fun and has raged on for so long there are actually multiple incomplete musical versions we may be able to morph into something else. Psst... Someone very creative planted a Unicorns-do-not-fart-rainbows seed that wont go away (so Phen is brewing - LOL).
A few of you have been bugging me to whip out some author tribute iTunes singles. Um... okay... (happy silly grin). While you book club bookies are waiting for the release of our author tribute album, go follow Alli on Twitter and buy her book. If you're not into sexy, dark and twisty paranormal humor this may not be for you. I happen to love dangerous wordsmiths. Authors like Allison make reading mad fun.
We're looking forward to her next book. We are also looking forward to unleashing our musical wink and nod on all those poor, unsuspecting amazing writers filling our book club Kindle collection. Allison knows about "Pang in A" and expects her Kitty track but Phen is a complete surprise. O.o (wicked little grin). ;-)
