75 and still enjoying the rain...
Well if you are confused as my picture does not represent me as someone 75 would look, remember this... many many people use pictures today from days gone by and that makes no sense to me. Show who you are TODAY! If someone meets you after seeing your picture and you look nothing like your image it will likely send off bad vibes and potentially even loss of a little trust.
Represent yourself for who you are and attract those without fear or reservation.
So back to me being 75. OK I confess I am NOT 75 but I finally surpassed the 3/4 century mark here in the rain (75,079 points)! Not bad for a newbie who made his very first blog post in the middle of May. So in my lengthy (just shy of 3.5 months) tenure here in the rain I want to send out challenges to others...
Get active and participate, make friends, comment, express yourself and insight via blogs, learn, grow and flourish! This (AR) is likely the very best platform in the world for real estate and possibly blogging plain and simple.
Why? I have 3 outside blogs. Of those 3 outside blogs I get almost NO FEEDBACK. There is almost a total disconnect in other platforms and when you are only speaking and getting nothing back you start to wonder does anyone hear me, does anyone care or am I just wasting my time? If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around did it really make a sound?
Well here in the rain you get all kinds of feedback (mostly positive) but feedback! You know if people are hearing you. You know if people agree and help promote what you do!
So while I may not be at the ripe age of 3/4 of a century I am living proof that an active person can quickly jump in, become part of this most illustrious group, climb the ladder and become a fixture and help others here in AR. So to others out there not participating or engaging fully I say jump in and... ROCK ON! Age and experience does not matter, this is a great place to learn and grow!
So to my last point of friends... Dick Greenberg (arghhhh, my arch nemesis and blurred to protect the innocent) lol. Where else can you make friends and start a "friendly competition" with someone you have never met other than the rain?
How far will we push each other? Who knows but I liken it to a workout partner. You may not "FEEL" like working out everyday but when you have someone who is pushing you and you them it sure does help to stay busy and get or stay in shape.
Yes my time here is brief so far but in my 4 platfroms to blog this is undoubtedly my favorite! And guess what it shows. I have some outside blogs I havent posted to in over a month but I never miss a day in the rain!
Welcome, come in, soak it up and enjoy all it has to offer!
Disclaimer: I have written over my limit of blogs this week this was just to inspire others to get active and enjoy the rain and create your own friendly competition with others. I get NO POINTS for this! lol....
