TCCC Writing Workshop
Suffering from writer's block or just having a hard time with content?? If you are an ActiveRain member in the mountains of western North Carolina or Northeast Georgia there’s a class being held with YOU in mind!
Tri-County Community College (TCCC) will hold a “Nuts and Bolts of Good Writing” workshop on Saturday, September 10. Class participants will learn writing techniques that can get an editor’s attention. Instructor Shirley Uphouse will also introduce the class to active and passive voice, first person, third person, dialogue, and dialect. The workshop will offer interactive writing opportunities and tips on improving writing skills.

The class fee is $25. Participants should bring a packed lunch. The workshop will meet at TCCC’s main campus in Peachtree in Enloe room 138 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. To register or get more information, contact Lisa Long at 828-835-4241.
