Christine: First of all... Welcome to Active Rain. I see you are a Newbie... and I am glad you're here !
Loved the first video. And, if there is a whole series of them... they are really winners. Ummm... the second one... I think you said it is one you made... umm... well, for me... it's just too noisy. Also, if someone turned on the video trying to sneek a peek while at work in their office... the loudness of the singing would get them "caught." Just my three cents.
But... you have made a video, and I have not. So... who am I to talk ? LOL.
<ps... I love Oreos and milk, too>
"suggested" for a Featured Post and a Gold Star.
By the way... this post is excellent... especially for only your second post. Great job !
Hi Christine, any realtor not using U-Tube is really missing out...thanks for sharing.
Deb, thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!! With animoto, the music is FREE. I use the pro, which is $29 a month, but you can make them for $3 each if yo ugo one at a time...
Karen Anne, thanks for the welcome! I know, that was one of my first videos, I've opted for "lighter choices," lol! Thanks SO MUCH for the thumbs up!!! We can discuss over a gallon of milk and 2 packs of double stuffs! <3<3<3
Karen Anne, almost forgot, check out the bed bug post! Ronald, you're welcome! And yes, video is a MUST these days... :0)
Tim, NO PROS NEEDED! I'd be happy to help if you need it, lol! Just don't ask me to get in front of a camera, lol! I made 2 videos, just haven't had the nerve to post them yet, lol!
Christine: Lighter choices are just fine. If anyone here on Active Rain even HINTS that your posts need to be nuts and bolts real estate... don't listen. Letting the "you" shine through in your posts will be a major contribution to your success in building your real estate business. Have a great weekend.... and please pass the Double Stuffs !
Me too, Deb!!!! Then again, with the new Facebook, they'll probably remove that too, lol! And Karen Anne, I have plenty to go around, lol! Deb, you in???? :0)~
Christine
You are so clever, I love what you are doing with your listings.Very out of the box! Thanks also to Christine for suggesting we all look you up and read your blogs, very funny posts!
You don't need to be infront of the camera to be on you tube, although I don't think your giving yourself credit. There are great ways to utilize youtube, go to videotrafficacademy.com, there is a wealth of information there!
Tori, I'm awful on camera, lol! That's why I opted to use the Animoto, lol! I made 2 videos, and even after like 10 or 12 redos, I'm still "uhhh, ummmm...." lol! It's not easy... BTW, videotrafficacademy.com is AWESOME!
Christine: You are totally adorable. I would think you'd be great on video. I think you need to push yourself. Obviously your clients love you... so why wouldn't they love you in video ?
Now... for me, the only way that I would do a video myself... would be if I dressed up in a Nun's outfit, and used a crochet'y very elderly voice... kind of like the bad witch in the Wizard of Oz. Actually... I've been thinking about doing just that. <dorky smile>
OMG, Karen Anne, that's PERFECT! It would go viral within MINUTES, lol! I told my mom I was going to borrow her 50's glasses, chunky earrings and bouffant wig, lol! OMG, I better be the first to see it, lol!!!!
Think about the property listing, the local community event being the video stars and less in your face real estate agent, broker, REALTOR. Your buyer wants the goods, information, real video, aerial maps seasoned in your feast of sight and sound. And not death by powerpoint with the same images you already showed him. That are sliced, diced and make him reach for Dramamine for vertigo. That is not the experience you want to engage, connect with your real estate buyer who will flit quickly. Real estate video improves yours chances of a front page search engine index spot fifty times. Powerful open houses around the clock for property listings, for sharing your local community area events.
Great videos. I've toyed with putting some stuff on youtube but I would prefer better quality than what I've done. I'll keep working on it though.
Sharalyn, try animoto.com! It is SO EASY, and super cheap! With the pre-made templates, you just put in your pics, add text, pick a song of theirs, and let it render! It times the pics to the music, it's AMAZING! I pay $29 a month for unlimited hi-def, but you can make then for I think $3 if you only need one or two...
I don't like to be video recorded!!! Even on home videos. But I know I have to "get over it"
Have a great day.
