YouTube and You: What? ME on CAMERA?!

I am NOT very good on camera. Heck, I'm not good in pics, either. But I'll tell you what. Have you been to YouTube lately? Look at some of these companies promoting themselves. Yeah, you have your run of the mill commercial types, yawwwwnnnnn...
But THEN, you see SHEER GENIUS! You know the ones, the ones that get their point across, but make you laugh out loud til, well, milk comes out your nose... (hey, I eat ALOT of Oreos!)

Now listen... I don't work for Remax, but ya know what? That is AWESOME! And there's a whole bunch more with the same guys, and they're all just as funny as the last! Now THAT'S marketing. You'r enot gonna forget the commercial any time soon, so when you think about Real Estate, you'll remember that video, but more importantly, you'll say, "Oh yeah, that was that REMAX video..." It's how you put yourself across that your name and or image will be permanently etched into someone's brain after they've seen it. (EEeeeewwwww...)
Yeah, ok, but I'm not getting on video anytime soon, sweetheart... Well, technically, you and I don't have to, either. There are tons of other options. You can make a slideshow video about you, your company, and what you can offer your clients. If your computer has Windows, you can use Windows Media Center, right in your start window, and it's FREEE. Guys, it's SUPER simple to use. You just put in photos of you (YOU know, the one you paid a ton of money for that you will NEVER look like again if you tried on your best day...), and text lines that explain what you can do for people. You can set them to music if you like, too!
My personal favorite is making videos of my listings. I take all of the pictures I take of the home, and add text, set them to music, and then upload them to YouTube. They're visible to darn near anywhere. There's a SUPER program I use to do my videos called Animoto. Here, take a look:
Please, don't be intimidated! It's SUPER EASY to use! Heck, if I can do it, well... just TRUST me, okay???
Anyway, the point is, videos posted on YouTube get top ranking on Google search results. Why? Because Google now OWNS YouTube. So if you want to REALLY get your name out there, make a video! Even if it's a property that you have listed for sale, upload it to Youtube, then you put a link to your website. Embed the video ON your website. Tweet it to Twitter, Like it to Facebook. Autopost it to your Facebook business page, too! And best of all, you can post the videos to Craigslist. Need publicity FAST? You just got it! Your videos get top rank in Google, your website gets visibility AND rank, and fast. It doesn't get any easier than that....
