Shasta County Homes Sales October 1, 2011 The market's inventory is continuing it's decline. 1,789 homes have sold year-to-date, 2011, versus 1,558 homes sold for the same period last year. The present inventory of 1,182 homes listed for sale represents a 5.96 months supply. A 3 to 6 month supply is considered balanced between a Buyer and Seller's market.

As you probably read Case/Schiller reported a 180 degree market reversal over 1 year ago. This was in 18 of their 20 metro area. That has to be Good News to someone. lol

I love the good natured chiding of my friends who thrive on statistics. We spent a number of years dealing with environmental EPA water quality issues. All of our measurements were reported in parts per million and parts per billion. No rounding off allowed.
