Bal Harbour houses. Finding Perfect community to live.
Finding the perfect community is really hard, as there are many variables that make up a community that can change the aspects of living. If you are looking for a home in an exclusive community with tight security and a walk able distance to the beach, then you definitely should check homes for sale in Bal Harbour Village and Golden Beach. My parents have been living at Bal Harbour since 2000 and they have lived in Golden Beach’s Centre Isle, therefore I know all the pros and cons of those two exclusive communities.
Golden Beach has some amenities that Bal Harbour doesn’t possess, such being located closer to the ocean, even containing a private beach with parking included. Another advantage for Golden Beach has in its reach is that it has tennis courts and a playground right inside the community. A third advantage is that Golden Beach has houses located directly on the ocean, while Bal Harbour Village only has homes on the intercostal and canal. And I would say that is probably it.
Bal Harbour Village has more advantages compared to houses in Golden Beach. First off, its location is amazing, as it is probably the most convenient location in South Florida. I have observed that many people choose condos on the ocean in Bal Harbour just due to the zip code. The village also has the attribute of a tight security. Bal Harbour Village is also located just behind the famous Bal Harbour Shops, a mall with beautiful landscaping and top of the line designer brands. In addition of being very close to a famous mall, Bal Harbour Village is also distance to two churches. The Village is just 2 minutes away from Bay Harbour Elementary School. Residents at Bal Harbour Villages have less steep taxes then of Golden Beach, primarily as the city has over 10 high rises on the ocean and a couple of hotels which help raise funds.
Bal Harbour Village also has superior sewage compared to Golden Beach. During hurricane season, when storms come pretty often, it is a great factor if the community has a good sewage system or not, as rain is very common in Florida. Many people that I knew were actually forced to sell their homes in Golden Beach, mainly because after a storm there would be a huge pool of water at Golden Beach Centre Isles, sometimes so big that a car can’t pass through it. Luckily, Golden Beach has increased the efficiency of the sewage system, but it does not completely eliminate the floods that come from storms.
Bal Harbour Village also has a new playground for kids, basketball court, and a private marina located on the water, which is inside the community. The community includes its own Marine Police, which protects the intercoastal canals.
Add to all of that is that convenient beach walks along the ocean, piers for fishing, wide sidewalks for residents along both sides of Colllins Avenue are included into the city of Bal Harbour.
The choice now depends on what you need in a community. If the beach is imperative to be close in your life, then Golden Beach is the best choice. If you want to be in a convienent and fun location, then Bal Harbour Villages is the best choice for you.
