A CRS which stands for Certified Residential Specialist. A CRS is a member of the council of residential specialist. Less than 3% of the one Million Realtors,  haved earned the CRS Designation.

The Council provides superior education, to help Realtors become more successful and have happier clients. The approximately 3% of Realtors who go through the certification process and that have the CRS designation, are involved in over 25% of all real estate transactions in US.

Hi Keith, I have many designations and have learned a lot.  Most classes are well taught with valuable information with no sales pitch attached.  I am not sure boasting that one has a so and so designation brings about anymore business, but should boost the agent's confidence that they are educated on whatever the subject is or the overall business.  That education then needs to be attached to experience to really blossom!
