Blue Sky, Cool Winds, and Interested Buyers At the Pascack Valley Open House
Another weekend, another Open House. Today we hosted 7 Marion Road in Montvale, a house which came on the market about one week ago. I'm happy to report that 10 groups of buyers visited the home, with some having returned for a second visit. Many of the visitors were very excited, and had only positive comments.
It is time for the public to hear the truth; the Housing Market is healthier than the media is reporting. In fact, many of my homes had multiple showings over this past weekend, despite the cooler weather and the temptation of football games.
Although homes are taking longer to sell than in the frenzied hot market a few months ago, they are selling. Many homes are being perceived as being exceptional buys. Buyers who have been watching the Pascack Valley Real Estate market are jumping in and planting their dollars in the homes of their dreams.
One of my buyers just bought a home with me this weekend, and received a mortgage rate in the very low 6 percent range. With prices having adjusted significantly and amazingly low mortgage rates, this buyer realized that this was the perfect opportunity to purchase a home for their family that met their lifestyle and dreams.
