Dower rules for Georgia

Does anyone in Georgia know about Dower rules.  I have a client who did not put his wife on the Deed and they have been married for 35 years.  Now he is waiting for Hospice and I am questioning the Dower laws if any that Georgia may or may not have had.  Is anyone and expert on this?
