There is a fabulous event going on next weekend in Plano, TX...It's a Feast-ival! And it's FREE!
Featuring food tasting from 25 of Collin County's top restaurants, this event in Downtown Plano is sure to delight people of all ages. In addition to the food, there will be live music throughout the day and interactive games for the whole family, the evening will also include a street dance. If you are looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend, come out to enjoy the event. You might watch a band perform, carve a pumpkin, get the kids faces painted, or visit the petting zoo.
Along with this great entertainment, the 2011 Feast-ival will also include an Official National Chili Cookoff Event (on the certified United States Chili Cookoff Circuit) with entries from professional and home chefs.
Street admission to Feast-ival is free, with affordable ticket prices on food and drinks.
Food and drink ticket sales will benefit the charities of The Assistance Center of Collin County, responding to families in crisis with food, shelter, clothing and medical assistance, and The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, providing safety, healing and justice to children victimized by abuse or neglect.
Downtown Plano is located on 15th Street @ Avenue K. The event is from 10am to 10pm on Saturday 10/22/11.
