I seem to be making a lot of fast friends these days. So many very special people keep popping into my life in droves it seems. I recently blogged about one in my Humble Pie series but there have been many more.

I have a business associate that I know through a local networking group. We were talking one day last year about our kids and it turns out he has a daughter who is 15, same age as my son and they are both very passionate about music. He owns a video production company and recording studio in Stroudsburg PA, Tera Productions,...very cool so he suggest we get the kids together. Well, life happens and finally a year later, last Saturday we go over to see his studio.

His house and studio were like a fairytale!  It turns out that he is an artist and a designer as well and his lower level where he works was transformed into a European street scene complete with columns and meticulously faux finished, antiqued walls...a man after my own heart!

We quickly discovered just how much we all had in common and really did become "fast friends"! His daughter, Francesca, absolutely blew us away with her talent. She was having her very first performance ever that night at an event at a local Pizzeria. I am so glad we took the time to come out and see this beautiful young lady perform as I know she has an extremely bright future ahead of her.

We did Janice. It is so exciting to see what theses kids can do. Both of my girls 11, and 13 were very inspired by the days events as well. They thought is was neat to meet another family who was "just like us"...artistic, creative, musical! My younger daughter has since decided to get back to learning the piano now too. They can get influenced so easily at that age so it is great to find opportunities for positive interactions that will inspire them!

Sharon~ Yes she is. I still have trouble imagining that she is only 15. She is such a sweet girl too. She would so take AI for storm for sure!!!

Gail~ I know right...she looks more like 20...kids these days...YIKES!

 Thanks for the code. I tried it again but everytime I click on the HTML it says error on page and doesn't change to the HTML format. Not sure why, I have done it successfully in the past. Then again, AR is being funny today. Everytime I post a comment it goes to a blank screen afterwards and I can't click on anything...weird!

Tammy~ Yeah it was funny because before we went, my girls were like..."What are we going to do there...it's going to be awkward ect.." But they had so much fun and left feeling very inspired. They are the ones who pushed to go see Francesca that evening. It was cold and we were tired and on our way home from an "away" soccer game but they all wanted to go. I am so glad we did.

Shar~ Yes it is awesome. I have been getting crabby ones too but if you read my last few post in my Humble Pie series you'll see how sometimes that can turn out alright in the end too!
