What’s Going on this Weekend, “In and Around Springfield, Mo?”  November 11, November 12, November 13, 2011.

·       Disney’s Beauty and the Beast presented by Parkview High School at 7pm.  www.phstheatre.org

·        You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown presented by Glendale High School at 7pm.  Lbettencourt@spsmail.org  Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 students and seniors.   Children under 6 are free.  417-523-8403.

·        “Working”  presented by Republic High School at 7pm, Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 student.  417-732-3650.

·       Civil War Lantern Light Tour at Smallin Cave.   Cost @29.95.  Pre-registration and $5.00 deposit required, Contact Smallin Cave SmallinCave@suddenlink.net with additional questions, enjoy a campfire dinner under the stars.    Visit with Southern Bells, Balknobbers, and experience a lantern-light adventure into Smallin Civil War Cave.  Event begins at 7pm.

·        Flags78th Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, featuring NCIS actor Muse Watson.    11am, downtown Branson, Mo.   Free.           Ghost Tour at 8:30 to 10:30pm, Pythian Castle at 1451 E. Pythian Street.   Admission at $15.00.  

·       Liszt Bicentennial Festival 7:30pm at Ellis Hall at MSU campus.   Features Robert Carney.   Free 417-836-5548.

·        “Our Town” presented by Springfield Little Theatre at 7:30pm,.   Tickets are $23.

·Ozarks Kennel Dog Show in Springfield, Mo      Ozarks Kennel Dog Show 8am to 10pm at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds at 3001 N. Grant, Free Admission.   833-2660.

·YMCA: Divas and Denim 6:30 to 1:00 am, at Wellington Place at 325 Park Central East.    Proceeds benefit the Y.   Tickets $100.

·Stings for Food      Strings for Food! at Springfield Music.   Customers can bring in (5) non perishable food  items and get their acoustic or electric guitar restring for FREE!    One guitar per customer.    Banjos, 12-Strings, ukuleles, mandolins too.   Customers must purchase the strings and they will put them on FREE.   Contact Donovan if you have questions or call 881-1373.
