For those of us who were for the Lake Travis School Bond, celebration time is here. The $158M LTISD Bond passed with a 57%:43% majority!
Thank you LTISD citizens.
Roughly 2,200 votes were cast early with about 4,100 on the day - the majority of the latter voting 53% against the Bond.
The Bond will increase local taxes by almost 10 cents per thousand dollar value which will impact the average $400,000 area home's tax bill by just under $300 per year.
That is a great turn out Lakeway! Thank you for your vote and, supporting the LTISD schools. Now hold on to your seats!
