Be Found!

Real Estate Agent with QUEST REALTY SERVICES

To be found on the web you've got to learn or hire someone to do things right, like search engine optimization and targeted online promotion.  Doing this takes a lot patience.  Every day you've got to do something, blog, tweak your website, anything to get in the face of your target!

Begin everyday by reviewing the goals you want to achieve. You might want to change your Website content, get an RSS feed, begin pay-per-click advertising.  Perhaps you have some articles you would like to write and then freely spread around the Internet with your embedded URL.  Maybe there is a new skill you want to acquire, or a marketing seminar to attend.  The point is to make everyday count!

If you want to succeed,  you need a good plan and your daily tasks must help towards obtaining that goal, and you've got to stick it out!

One good thing about AR are all the FREE great tips and advice you'll find here.

Take advatage of them and your tasks will be a lot easier!

Armando:  You are so right that it is an every day battle.  This is why I like Active Rain so much.  I have gotten more information from members on this website than I've gotten anywhere else.  I have learned so much and when I look back at my first blog and now, oh, what a difference and that's all because of Active Rain members.

I agree.  A few years ago when not as many people were advertising on search engines, I could get top rankings on Google and Yahoo all the time without paying a dime to pay per click.  Now with heavy competition, I can't get nearly the same rankings.

Pay per click seems to bring a lot of clicks, but not much business.  It seems to be a way for Google and Yahoo to get rich at my expense, but I guess it works for some.

Armando:  Good reminder about how the process works. As you say, by adding to your other stuff daily in a planned manner, your ratings should rise.  Do you get those calls from "Google" and other online marketing companies?  I do.  Had a thought the other day.  Just pay attention to the phrase they are trying to sell you  and incorporate it into your blogging.
