In just under a week many of you will be sitting around a table breaking bread with your loved ones and sharing the things you are thankful for. Thanksgiving is a great reminder to give thanks and make those aware who have helped you in one way or another. I'd like to share a few things I am thankful for this year:
- The love this Community so freely gives to one another. In times of dark sorrow, desperate need and low points I have never seen such a wonderful outpouring of compassion from a group such as those that make up AR.
- I'm thankful that newbies come across AR and fall off their chairs daily. You share so freely the ins and outs of your business tactics with one another with nothing expected in return. The "why not help out the next guy?" attitude is valued and appreciated.
- For all of you that continue to believe in the power of ActiveRain year after year. Without you we would be nothing. Each member is vital to the success of AR; what it was, what it is and what it will become.
- Go look in the mirror.....YOU are what I'm thankful for.
I'm also thankful for the 6 members below sharing their stories of success with us all. Let it Rain baby!

"Wrote a blog on first time home buyers a couple of weeks ago. A new client contacted me through AR email. I got them pre-approved with a lender who did DU on them. We wrote an offer, got it accepted and closed the deal within ten days. Within a month of writing that blog, I made a little over $7k. Not too bad for 20 minutes of writing."

"ActiveRain is an important discovery tool for realtors and associated businesses...With excellent information to enable realtors to adjust to the post-internet world, which has totally changed business into a consumer-centric model, it's an invaluable aid to success in real estate sales, today. Whether it's rain camp, or ActiveRain university webinars, or blogging and commenting with peers, this is a blueprint for information that is really a necessity. I have learned so much from ActiveRain!"

"...I attended a CE class here in Maryland. There was about 60 students and the class was on Short Sales and Foreclosures. At one point during the class the instructor said "if you really want to get a lot of information on real estate, you have to go to www.ActiveRain.com. You should have seen the number of students writing that down. I'm way ahead of them on that count... "
Pam Miller (Joan Benford Properties)

"An old acquaintance from Illinois found me while surfing ActiveRain. As a consequence, he engaged me as his buyers agent and we are currently searching for his Montana getaway."
