Its that time again. Columbia County real estate property taxes are Due November 15th. The Majority of homeowners in our area have escrow accounts. You have been paying 1/12th of your taxes with each Mortgage payment. Your mortgage company should send the payment to Columbia county tax office. I would confirm your payment before the deadline in case this payment has not been made
If you're like me and don't have an escrow account. get out you check book. Columbia county also has the option of paying online with a credit card. Please review the fees before using this method.

Real and Personal Property Tax can be paid Online by clicking on the link below. Have your Receipt Number (located in the first column of your tax statement) and credit card available. Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted. If you choose to transfer funds electronically (EFT) from your CHECKING or SAVINGS account, have the routing and checking account numbers ready. (Debit card is NOT and option.)
There is a $3.00 plus 2.4 percent of the payment amount convenience fee to pay by Credit Card.There is a $1.95 convenience fee to pay by Electronic Funds Transfer for each receipt.
Fees are charged by a third party.
