It feels like just yesterday when my sister, mom and I were sitting by the fire pit at HT Grill enjoying martinis when Santa pulled up on his horse and carriage. The road had been closed down for the annual Holiday Stroll. There were families everywhere and the street was filled with twinkling lights, laughter and holiday cheer. We teased my sister that this kind of thing happens every day here in the South Bay. It sure did help her want to move back! ;)

It reminded me of the part in the movie Funny Farm when Chevy Chase is trying to sell his home and he bribes his neighbors to put on a whole festive show for the interested buyers. (Great movie, by the way).. In the end they decide they really don't want to move after all....
Well, I am happy to report that a few years after the Holiday Stroll at HT Grill (5 to be exact) my sister is offically a homeowner here in the South Bay!! We couldn't be any more thrilled. She closed escrow on her beautiful new home just last week. Now, she and her family are just a drive away. So, we have lots to be thankful this year! Hope to see all in the Village tonight!
