Progress and passion intersect at these green shops, which offer great finds based on the Eco Friendly Giftsprinciples of sustainable living.

All’s Fair sells items from fair-trade vendors, meaning artisans from around the world are paid fairly for their labor while you get great finds that are handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. The shop’s friendly owner will help you locate the perfect item, and with 50 countries currently represented, there’s lots to choose from. Popular items include coffee, jewelry, crosses, nativity sets and chocolate.

Big Grass Bamboo
is Texas’ largest seller of sustainable home furnishings, accessories and garden décor, including bamboo and teak furniture, outdoor items and small pieces for the home. You’ll find handcrafted items that are made mostly by artisans in Thailand.

Irene’s Candle Crossing & Gifts offers dye-free handcrafted candles made with 100 percent soy. Soaps and lotions are made with natural ingredients that work wonders if you have sensitive skin.

Local Coffee serves locally roasted, direct-trade coffee and espresso brewed to the highest standards while remaining eco-friendly and tasty. It also offers fresh pastries, desserts and bagels in a comfy, welcoming environment. There are a few couches and chairs for lounging and you can check out work from local artists on the walls. Listen to live entertainment by local musicians every Friday and Saturday night.
