Sun City West sounds cool with 7 golf courses!  I am not a golfer so what is an executive course?  Is it shorter?

Good question Renee! An executive course is a shorter simpler course designed for a faster round. The idea was many people did not have 4 to 5 hours to play a regulation length course so they could play a much faster round with par being in the high 50's to low 60's and on a regulation course around 72. Executive courses have many par 3 holes a few short par 4 and sonmetimes a short par 5. These courses were usually placed in and around corporate office parks therefore naming them executive courses as these people usually did not have time to play regulation courses and they were convenient.
