I am often asked about Mortgage Down Payments. Of course I always remind people that I am a Real Estate Agent but not a Mortgage Loan Officer. It is simply a habit of mine to refer clients to the right people in reference to all of their questions.
I noted an interesting article yesterday that arrived in my Home Office through email. "8 Things You Should Know About Down Payments" will first of all define a down payment and then tell you what is and is not acceptable in the Mortgage Down Payment process. In other words, there are rules that cannot and must not be ignored!
