So Christmas is Over, What Now?
Are you glad or sad Christmas is over? Or a little of both like me? So how many days until Christmas 2012? As of today there are 362 days. And it’ll be here before you know it again!
So, when do we put the house on the market is a question I hear a lot this time of year
and going into the new year. When is a good time to put your house on the market? The old saying is Spring. But this is the era of the internet and technology.
In the past buyers started looking in February and March as they waited for their income tax returns. Then there were the loan sharks that would advance your tax return money for a crazy fee. Now, you can do an electronic return and get your tax refund in days!
So when do buyers start looking for homes? In the past few years I would normally say right after the New Year. This year my phone is already starting to ring with buyers wanting to see property. Why I’m not sure. Typically the week between Christmas and New Years is very slow.
