A thought to ponder.

I think the answer is China.

Look at nations with little to no debt.  There are borrowers and their are lenders.  Countries today who have leveraged their GNP to creditor nations now haven't the money to repay.

What did they do with the money?  They redistributed ot to constituancies to perpetuate their power.  Once there are more recipients than contributors in a country, the downward spiral has begun. 

Unless the borrowing ceases and the spending is dramatically reduced (stop redistributing the wealth), the upward spiral will begin again. 

In the case of the U.S.,  WE'RE DOOMED!!

Corruption in government is not so deeply entrenched, they have no incentive to correct the massive transfer of wealth by which they perpetuated their power.  Power to do what??  Power to set the social agenda for the country. 

How's that for a cheery answer??

From Our House To Yours - Happy New Year

In 2012 I would Challenge each and everyone to reach out and touch someone be it as close as a neighbour going through a hard time to some one half way around the world. It does not matter if you donate to a local food bank, or travel halfway around the world to offer aid or assistance. If we all did Just One Thing To Make Someones New Year A Little Better A Little Brighter the world would be better for it and so would we. In today's global world with its instant communication of disaster and distress how can we not reach out.

Make This A Happy New Year For Someone Else.
