Top Ten Realtor iPAD Business Uses

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Leading Edge www.GoldenResults.com 71785

After a year of exploring and discovering and jumping up and down in WONDER about my cool iPad Realtor tool, here are the Ten Realtor iPad Business Uses that just make me DROOL. Okay, Riley Rover may want me to rephrase that but you get the gist. Here is my top ten iPAD CURRENT Business uses for Realtors 2012 list.

1. Let 's do the obvious first. You get Email and Internet on a  large screen that is easy to see and user friendly for vision and modifications and usage. The Average Realtor is in their Fifties with tech savvy clients in their low forties. Enough said. See and Use is a Whoopee to me.

2.  Evernote means paperless. It means notes everywhere and info everywhere. Scan in all your contracts. Send a tweet to preserve ideas. Email a PDF. Record class notes. Do a blog post rough draft. Your old day timer and notebook are reduced to one app that records everything everywhere. Plus it saves my back which means I do not have to lug all that around.

3. Kindle App means Dummies Books for every tech or social networking subject imaginable . It also means email long PDFs to the Kindle for future reads. iPad means great discoveries on Zite and Flipboard and blogs via the Reader, too. I love to read so this is my speed!

4. VTC and Lynda apps to get video training on all tech products. Yum! Fifteen minutes a day and hey your skill level excels!

5. Go to Meeting Webinars. This means I can roam around, get tea, and let Riley out while attending class.

6. Skype. Yikes. Show the home on a preview or demo the home inspection issue live to the absent spouse.

7. Endless Apps to do this and that. I have lists of apps I explore and implement. Lately I like Skitch which is the Snag it Concept for iPad.

8. Freedom as in no more tethered to the desk lifestyle. My mobile Top Producer database means I can record and look up and function on my database instantly anywhere. Microwave mentality works for me!

9. Heavenly means Clouds. Excel Spreadsheets on the cloud with GotoDocuments and Dropbox. Not to mention you store your top favorite docs to access nonstop. Or use Google Docs or Box.net for same utility.

10. Chris Columbus. By this I mean explore , navigate, experiment, ROAM.  No more moans and groans about how do you learn all this Tech Stuff? This becomes the fun crossword puzzle to start the day! Hey, it makes Facebook and Twitter via Hootsuite a touch away!

11. Whoppee. Golden Results means Eleven tips for THEE! All of these ten highlights mean I am free to work more and play now, too. Okay, Riley Rover, I know it is time to take your walk. Let me finish this contract on Docusign first!

Cheryl - I'm a relative newbie with an ipad and I absolutley love it!  Makes everything so much easier and simple!    I'll have to check out some of the groups you posted this in so I can learn...learn and learn some more.  Have you used facetime?  That is very cool!

Thanks for the info.  Now, that I have my iPhone, the iPad can't be too far away.  Bookmarked for use later.

The iPhone is just a smaller iPad to me. I can see on the bigger screen and my fingers are happier and have more room to roam. I started with the iPAD and then got the iPhone and yep the Mac followed third in line. Facetime is coming up soon to experiment with but I liked the group concept on Skype to idea share.

I was in the Apple store about a year and a half ago trying to get my iPad.  They had none in stock back then, so they were going to order one for me.  My dilemma at the time was choosing which model to get.  That same day, as I was driving to a restaurant to take my son and his family to dinner, I got a call about a contract that was half signed.  The seller decided not to sell.  Depressed and feeling poorer, I cancelled the order and wound up putting the iPad on the back burner.

Just a few days ago I got my iPhone 4S and am in love with it.  The iPad is on my soon to purchase list.  I'm only waiting for the new model to come out to decide whether it makes sense to get that one.  I can't wait to experience all that you have . . . and more.

I agree with Don! Just got the iPhone and am loving the ease of use and how connected I can stay with everything. I'm sure with a good year the iPad will be next for me the bigger screen would be nice. So, much easer to read AR blogs.

Wishing you a great year!

Dear tutor,

It will be the ipad in the near future (Valentines or not lol) or bust. No I phone, just the gusto.

I do have a question though ? Is the Ritchie tech center open 24/7

Enjoy the day
