9 Comments on Marietta, PA Candlelight Tour of Homes
Hi Brian,
It sounds like it was very well organized and covered a variety of different venues and historic buildings. The top picture looks like the one you owned and were restoring at one time....was it on the tour?
I wish they would hold one of these in my area.....perhaps I should join the heritage society like I've been saying I'm going to do, and organize one for next year.

Carole, the lack of snow was a relief, but I'm sure the forecast kept a lot of folks from going.
Jennifer, the ambience inside these historic homes, with the fireplaces going, antique furniture and candlelight, was especially nice when contrasted with the raw weather outside!
Brian - This is a great idea and a way to get people interested and involved in history. I wish they had one of these by me!
Brian~ we just had our local house here in Montgomery. It's done over 2 days. The first day the homes are shown at night with the homes decked out in candles and thousands of lights, just gorgeous.
I'm glad the weather got better for your tour.
