Well here is an update: Obviously I share this theory with anyone that will listen because I believe in it. What do you want to be remembered for? What is your legend, your legacy? So you get it I believe in less stress, being nice, living your dream, the law of attraction.
Fast forward to tonight. I gal interested in starting a staging business flew from S. Cal to N. Cal and called me for a business coaching consultation. This is great, we meet, I am taking her step by step through what to expect in starting a staging business and areas I can help etc. Answering all her questions. She referenced a book that tells a story of a boy that had a dream and was pursuing the dream and figured out his dream was his Legend" his destiny etc. So we chatted about this and I told her about the Secret and she told a story how she used to be uptight and now she is not. So, I tell her about what my kids call "the theory" meaning, be nice, talk a little sweeter, dont sweat the small stuff etc because you or your loved one could be hit by a truck. She smiled and said WOW that is so true. A few more sentence went by and she talked about her great parents and how lucky she was and you know, my mom God bless her actually walked out the door 2 years ago and got him by a truck and died!
OK how many ways can I say MORTIFIED!!! I was so stunned in disbelief the first words out of my mouth were, "WOW was she on foot or in a car?" OK ho may ways can I say STUPID STUPID STUPID! then I followed with wow I am so sorry. and she was so graceful and said well how would you know! But I can tell you that when you said that it actually warmed my heart because it is so true.
Turns out all is fine she was not offended at all and then told me about how her dad is done morning and just married at 85 a women he dated in 1947!
All I can say is thank God the rest of what I said made sense!! We laughed the rest of the night!
