"Enchanted", Princesses & Knights in Shining Armor In Ridgewood, NJ
This past weekend I took my family to see "Enchanted" at the Warner Quad in the center of Ridgewood . I have 2 daughters and they are always very interested in Princesses and Happily Ever After. I have to admit I was a little skeptical of the movie at first. However, I found myself entrenched in the movie. Sometimes in life we can become negative and lose sight of our dreams. Is there really a Love's First Kiss? What about Happily Ever After? Can a knight really rescue the princess? This may seem like an idea from long ago but I believe it exists today. I read a book by John Eldridge it was called "Wild at Heart" he makes the case for Modern-Day Knights, I believe that most men want to slay the dragon and save the princess. How about Braveheart? There are a lot of men who want to be William Wallace. He had a great quote in Braveheart when he was asked about dying... "Every man dies, not every man really lives." I want to live! Films like this can really take you to a place where you can believe in Happily Ever After. If you find your passion, translate that into your work & life, it is going to be a great ride. Enjoy the trip! Sorry to jump around with my ideas here. Bottom line... go and see "Enchanted" you won't be disappointed. I would love to hear from those of you who are chasing your dreams and enjoying the ride. Do you believe in Fairy Tales and Happily Ever After?
