The Blessing of the Fleet is an event that takes place every year in Morro Bay.
This year, the Blessing of the Fleet is scheduled on April 22nd, which begins @ 12:30 p.m. from the North T-Pier and continues through the harbor. While flowers are showered with good wishes and blessings on families and boats of the fishing fleet, the Blessing also includes remembering those lost at sea.
Following the Blessing, visitors are invited to enjoy a community potluck bar-be-que that's hosted by the Morro Bay Commercial Fisherman's Organization at the Morro Bay Veterans Hall.
