Selling Your Home In South Central WI?

Staging tip;

Buyers Can Be Scared Of The Dark!

Yep, that's right!  Buyer's can be afraid of the dark!  So what do you do with a dark area?  Especially when the budget doesn't allow for more electrical to be run to lighten and brighten?

Here's what I did;

This may not make any sense at all but I actually painted this hallway darker than the paint that was currently in there!

With the very pale color on the wall and the off white trim-work,
the beautiful original trims used throughout were lost and blended right in.

But even with the darker color on the walls AND with replacing the carpet with a darker tone as well, I was able to lighten and brighten this hallway with one simple trick!

Mirrors reflect light and can brighten a dark corner, wall or hallway!

Very interesting, Laura - I'm amazed at the difference a little paint and carpet made.  Great idea for home staging and selling in Central WI or any where.

Very clever with the mirror, Laura. Make the lights shine brighter by allowing them to reflect

What, you don't like brass with only 1 60 watt bulb Kristin?  ;-).

Sir Rog, what I would give to work with you for just one job!  Oh what I would learn!!!

Julie, I was amazed how fast this house had an accepted offer!  Less than a week and it was all over!!!

It's amazing just how much light is reflected by a well placed mirror Ed

Thanks Zinger!  That dull pale color just wasn't cutting it.  :)

Conrad, I am just full of surprises!  LOL!
