Hello Fellow Real Estate Associates! (This is my first Blog post, My goal is to share ideas and experiences)
Tis the Season to write our Business Plans for 2008! I have been creating a business plan for my business since 2001.....So, as the years pass they get easier and take me less time. I look forward to writing mine every year....it is very motivating for me. Looking at my future goals and planning what exciting new techniques I will be using or trying in the months to come. It is surprising that there are so many people in many types of businesses who do not write a business plan at all. At this stage in the game...I do not understand how anyone can stay in business or keep focused without one. I remember when I wrote my first one, I had no idea what I was doing! It seemed to go on forever and ever, then again I was managing all aspect's of a Manufactured Housing Community of 352 Home-sites. This included day to day operations, collecting monthly rents, opening a new sales office, training new staff, and organizing community & resident relations. It seems so easy now to just write a business plan for my personal business with myself and my assistant. So, maybe for those of you who have never written a business plan ....this will be one of the new added items for 2008 to make you and your TEAM more focused and accountable. It is very motivating to satisfy the goals in your plan and reach for higher ones before 2008 has ended! I have access to a download for a PDF Business Plan for Real Estate Professionals, which is a Template to guide you through writing your own. I am new at blogging so, I am not sure how to add the download to my message. I have used it to remind me of some questions that you should ask yourself when writing your plan. You do not have to complete the entire plan the way it suggests...remember, it is your business and you write your plan the way you want to write it. THE KEY IS WRITE A PLAN! Good Luck and please email me if you would like a copy. IcanHelp@ptd.net GetResults@MyHomeHunter.info
Happy Writing! and Happy Holiday's!
