Magalia Real Estate Update

The Magalia real estate conditions are very similar to those reported last week.  Price reductions and new listings are prevalent as Magalia home sellers attempt to get their homes noticed by all prospective Magalia home buyers this upcoming January.  In Magalia this past week, there were 5 price reductions, 10 new listings, while only 3 Magalia properties went under agreement, and 2 Magalia properties were officially sold.  The first time Magalia home buyer and retiring "down sizing" Magalia home buyers seem to be the most active in the current market.  This past week Magalia homes up to $250,000 and Magalia manufactured homes had the highest percentages of total listings under agreement.  The Magalia manufactured homes are performing the strongest with 18% of the total listings being under agreement.  The homes priced up to $250,000 have 12% of the total listings under agreement.  This is not the case for homes that are priced over $450,000 in Magalia.  They are performing quite poorly with none of the listings currently under agreement.
