Contra Costa County Inventory of Homes March 2012 - By City
Here is an update of the inventory of homes by City in Contra Costa County. We are now seeing multiple offers on what is available - upwards of 12 offers on homes. Open houses are a constant stream of buyers. So what we have seen is a shift in the market, and it is fast becoming a Seller's market.
We don't expect prices to explode. What we do know is most of the deep discounts or low offers with unreasonable terms aren't going to make it. Buyers should keep in mind that price is not the only factor in being the lucky bidder, terms play a factor as well. These terms include closing dates, seller contributions requested, earnest money, pre-approval,to name a few.
