I am number 1What you are willing to settle for is what your REAL goals are...

I am a pretty good judge of character. I am also a pretty good judge of the real goals and real drive inside of someone, as I listen then watch. When I hear one thing and see another its a pretty easy call. Many times I read the, rah rah rah, posts, sometimes I write them myself, (lol). I see what others are talking about and most times agree with it but when the rubber meets the road it all boils down to one thing... NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY YOUR GOALS ARE THEY TRULY ARE WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO SETTLE FOR!

If you are content with finishing 3rd, then that is what you will strive for and be happy with.

If you are content with a top 2 finish then you will likely push yourself a little further, to the point you need to get to, to achieve that 2nd place finish.

BUT if you are only willing to settle for being the best, finishing 1st, or whatever the pinnacle is, then that is likely what you will push and strive for.

This does not matter whether its life, kids, business its all the same if you are willing to settle for XXX then that has become your goal or benchmark you judge your effectiveness by.

I am not writing this as a "rah rah rah post" or anything to demean someone for not wanting to be the #1 of XXX of have the best at XXX for themselves or their kids. What I am simply saying is be real and be aware of what you say and do, others are and this I am sure of.

Don't say "I will do XXX, whatever it is, to achieve XXX then at first or second opportunity you walk out and use an excuse. is this really your goal? If so then you don't stop when you are pursuing it. If this is really your desire you don't settle for less why is this? Simple what you are willing t settle for is what your real goals are.

Be all you can be and don't settle. At the same time don't portray something you are not, if 3rd is all you need then 3rd is just fine, just don't say you are a #1 only and then make up excuses for why you got 3rd the bottom line is the other 2 wanted to be#1 more than you and putting the extra effort to get there.

Have a blessed and productive week and year!
