Fainéant is the new word of the day.
OH B-U-D-D-Y! How many people do I know that fall into this category. Man how to word this and not sound judgmental? Well I really don’t know of any way so I’ll go back to the old standby and ask you how many people do you know who fall into this category? But I guess you want to know the meaning of (fa’ne ant) is a lazy; idle person. So how many do you know?

Well, that sure is a big, bad word and I hope nobody every considers me to be faineant or I might get really ugly and let that red hair down!
We should always be careful about unfairly judging others, thinking they are being faineant when in reality, they just might be having a bad day, perhaps they're sick, or something unfortunate happened. Gossip is hurtful.

I had a boss once who accused me of being faineant..............not the case at all. I told him I knew what I was doing and never looked frantic or frazzled like the other employees. I sat at my desk and did my job, I got up when I needed to...............they scurried around the office all day wasting time. In the end, he found out I was much more productive than the others. So who was faineant? Certainly not I.....................

I am faineant when I go on vacation...lol. I think that is about the only time you could say that tho!

Boy oh boy, this one really gets my goat! I'm out interviewing candidates for election and there's nothing worse than talking to a lousy politician who has done nothing for the locals because he's a plain and simple Fainéant politician, who didn't do anything for the past two years, and now he's bashing his opponent and begging for votes. Well, he isn't getting my vote!!!
