Orange you curious? I know I am.
How could I not notice these flowers growing in Mayor Wilson’s yard in Dillsboro, NC?
I’ve never seen any quite like them and yes…you got it, unless someone in ActiveRain recognizes them…
the only name I’ve got for them will have to be “Mayor Wilson’s Orange Flowers“!

Heh, I like the color orange but it needs to be brighter so it matches my Oklahoma State Cowboys!

I see #12 made the connection already. Your first line reminded me of all those knock knock jokes that are so hysterical to children around the age of 4. My son couldn't get enough way back when and even his preschool teacher was starting to get irritated.

Hi Elyse, I spotted these from more than a block away. Apparently they've been growing there for years but this was the first time I ever noticed them.
They are orange four leaf clovers...but of course. Well they will be until someone comes up with a better name!

Hi John, nope...no enhancements on these particular photos. In fact, the day was overcast which I think added to the richness of the color. Thanks...the Office Manager is very special.
