Comfortably Numb...
Roger Watters 1/2 of the voices that made up legend Band Pink Floyyd was in town tonight here in Denver CO playing his multi platinum album from the early 80s The Wall.
The show was interesting, dark but meaningful in some weird way. Comfortably numb played and anyone within 200 yards of the arena became comfortably numb as more weed was lit up than at a CA Glaucoma Festival.
I honestly was never a big fan of PF I thought they had a few good songs and an interesting niche in the music world but really wasnt my gig. Regardless of that I saw many a person brought to tears from the show and others that simply fell over.
There is a lot of pain in this world, some self inflicted some not but regardless comfortably numb may be one of their biggest his but in my opinion its a state I dont desire to find. Peaceful, Peace Filled, Blessed, multitude of favor thats my idea of "comfortably numb".
You cant succeed without perseverence.
You cant be succesful without failures to some level
You cant live in that state of "comfortably numb" and be productive (at least in business)
Well without getting too much deeper it was a show and one I was glad I saw but missing David Gilmour (the other main voice in the band) it wasnt quite as I remembered in my teens.
Peace
