Amazing Architecture
Every Wednesday on our Facebook business page, we like to feature a truly unique home. Most of these homes are rather creative, usually designed by someone who can really think outside the box. It is always amazing to find homes converted from other types of buildings!
Here's this week's find:
Missile Base Home in the Adirondack Mountains, NY
This is unique property is actually for sale! Situated on 19 acres, there are actually 2 homes. This first is a 2000 sq ft log home above ground.
Then comes the 2300 sq ft, 2 storey underground home complete with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.
There are even the original doors into the underground home. Apparently they can withstand a 2000 lb blast! (Always handy I guess?)
You never know when you might need an escape hatch!
Last, but not least, the property also has it's own airstrip, hanger and 20,000 sq ft of unused silo space! All this for $750,000 for the silo home, log cabin and 19 acres or $1,760,000 for the entire property including 125 acres and the private runway.
