May 24 - Welcome and Ribbon Cutting: Forever Marilyn Palm Springs. Palm Springs VillageFest will host the official Welcome and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Forever Marilyn Palm Springs on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm.
May 26th - Art Party '12 Palm Desert
May 26th - Memorial Day Weekend Concert at La Quinta Resort & Club Saturday, Greg Lake of Emerson Lake & Palmer.
May 28. Annual Memorial Day Flower Drop - This is a very special day at Palm Springs Air Museum. Our brief Memorial service is dedicated to all of our fallen comrades, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. In their honor, we highlight the service with a fly-by and flower drop of over 3,000 red and white carnations from a B-25 Mitchell. This most impressive ceremony is our way of saluting our fallen comrades. Visitors are welcome to pick up a flower to take home.
June 1 through 10th is the Palm Desert Restaurant Week!
June 8th to 10th - Coachella Valley Grand Prix at PGA & Andalusia Country Club. The Coachella Valley Grand Prix is a series of adult doubles tennis tournaments.
June 19 - 25th is the ShortFest - Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.
July 4th - La Quinta Carnival of Lights. Stay in La Quinta this 4th of July for a light parade, chili cook-off, live entertainment, games, food, fireworks at dusk, and more! FREE swimming at La Quinta Pool from noon to 5:00pm at La Quinta Community Park!
