$565,000 was approved by the St. Cloud City Council for the purchase of a little over one acre a combination of two lots on Lakeshore Boulevard and New York Avenues. Residents are concerned that a parking lot in the exclusive resdiential area will cause their home values to sharply decline. Additional funds may be required from the tax payer base to staff, monitor, and operate the parking the facility. St. Cloud, Florida is located west of Disney and East of Melbourne.
