FAQ10: Why should I trust you?... You shouldn't!... At least without doing some verification!!
This is one of my favorite questions of all time. When I get this, the real truth behind it is... "prove to me your word means anything and I can trust you"! Am I right? Of course I am. This questions screams... "I like what I hear but I don't trust you or how can I trust you"? That is the best sign (if you are legit) for a direction on doing business you can get. It says... you know your stuff and your client likes you. They want to trust you but from past burns and bad experiences they have little trust to give freely... and they WONT!
The VERY first thing I do when I get this question is this - We GIVE the client the information AND the step by step instructions on how to verify us.
We have a formed document that links all pertinent information for the CLIENT to go check us out on their own! Yes we do have this and YES we do give this to anyone who is hesitant / cautious or anyone who asks! It is a direct link to check us out on BBB our company rating, our NMLS information and the "how to" to be able to verify we are who we say. It also contains all the state info on how to check us out and verify those same things. In addition to all that we have "authorized" cell and home and work numbers of past clients who have been so happy with us and their experience that they OK giving THEIR personal info out so others looking can talk to a NON interested party that has prior / recent experience with us.
Why do we do all this?
Simple, its because we are realists and understand a good con man/woman can tell a GREAT story but ONLY a legit one can back it up with facts and customers who have experienced the benefits and services, that CAN be verified from real independent third party's!!!
