We have a new listing that's about $2M, and I am thinking about doing a press release relating to the listing. My thought is the following: 1) this may deliver content and links about the new listing in venues that I would not normally publish through MLS/IDX and might actually come across someone who is interested or knows someone who is interested in the target property; and 2) it probably wouldn't hurt my SEO efforts.
Any thoughts? The press release distribution isn't cheap ($100-200), but I thought I might try this out on a listing given the value of the listing. If anyone else is doing press releases for new listings, I'd be curious to hear their thoughts and/or experiences.
