Speechless Sunday - Juxtaposition
This picture is of Mill Pond, Wayne, Maine, taken from the foot bridge that crosses over the Mill Pond Dam, right behind Tubby's Ice Cream in the center of Wayne Village. Mill Pond feeds into Androscoggin Lake. The Mill Pond Dam is on the opposite side of this foot bridge - the difference in water motion from one side of the foot bridge to the other is amazing.
Wow, beautiful photos. I especially love the reflection of the first. It's so smooth it's almost unreal. And the colors are amazing. Well done.

Lisa~ The first photo is so calming and beautiful. The second photo is beautiful too, but shows such power. Amazing how different it can be on either side of the foot bridge. What a lovely place to visit. BTW, Tubby's Ice Cream sounds like a nice place to visit too!
@ Gretchen and Donna - it is so remarkable standing on that foot bridge and seeing such calm on the left and such activity on the right. (And, Donna, Tubby's is a nice place to visit!)
