Early summer in Methow Valley we are seeing substantial snow pack still lingering about the high peaks. Don't let that discourage you, there are still plenty of awe inspiring hikes up some pretty intriguing peaks around Winthrop Washington and Mazama.
You will need good contour maps because many of the mystery hikes of Methow Valley do not have a formal trail to them.
That is what the fun is all about anyway; going down the road less traveled.
