Children’s Summer Reading program at Katy TX Library
Children’s Summer Reading program at Katy TX Library as the Maud Smith Marks Branch Library is hosting an afternoon adventure they term “Zoofar”. The program is being held on Monday July 9, 32012 starting at 2 PM. Children ages 5 and up are invited. Tickets will be distributed at the library on the same day as the event is being held. The theme centers on animals which will not be seen in a child’s backyard. This is just program the library is presenting to the local community this summer to encourage all children to read.
The Maud’s Mark Branch Library is part of the Harris County Library system. The library is located at 1815 Westgreen Katy TX 77450 and the phone is 281-492-8592.
I have written several blogs in the past about the programs offered by both the Harris County Library system and the Fort Bend Library system. Living the Katy area could find you in either county depending obviously on where your home is situated. These local libraries continue to impress me with the quantity and quality of the programs they conduct which benefit the local residents. If you want to take your child to this specific reading program I would recommend going early to the Library to obtain a ticket. These summer programs from what I have heard are in demand. On Mondays Maud Mark’s opens its doors at 1 PM.
