Weather in Treasure Island | Storms coming in
The weather here in Treasure Island Fl and for that matter everywhere along the Gulf coast is fascinating to me and it never gets old. In the summer time I love to see the afternoon storms roll in.
When I first moved to Treasure Island I would watch the skies very closley and as soon as I saw big black rain clouds rolling in I would stop everything I was doing and go home. (who wants to get rained on)
Once I was at home I would make sure all windows are closed, lawn furniture was secure, bring cushions inside etc. If I was supposed to meet up with friends for an outside event or to go to the beach, I would cancel. It took me a whole year to adapt the Floridian way of thinking when it comes to Weather in Treasure Island | Storms coming in.
Now I could not care less, no storm will interupt my day, no more canceling events, no more hauling around lawn furtniture or any of the stupid thing I did in my first year.
Just because we see a storm rolling in doesn't mean it will rain in Treasure Island. After all, rain is only water and I am not made out of sugar. If I get wet the Florida sun (which always follows a storm) will dry me within minutes.

PS. You see big storms rolling into Treasure Island Fl on all my photos BUT it never rained even once !
